Fresh Snow!
Finally feels like winter! 25cm of fresh stuff yesterday morning on the ground... The lifts still aren't running but hopefully as of this weekend it'll be on.

Many, many years ago in the great land of the Schweiz
There lived an old man who went by the name of Sir Frederik the Wise,
His dream, simple though it seemed
Was to build a giant castle with a chocolate theme!
And so it began, chocolate arrived by day and by night
Flavors a plenty there were, yet for Frederik, the favorite was white.
The cocoa bricks were pieced together and carried ton by ton
Until finally one day, months had passed, the masterpiece was done.
Hot Chocolate was brewed in gallons and painted on the walls
They paved the floor with semi-sweet chips, and dark chocolate filled the halls.
But sadly for Sir Frederik the Wise, one thing was just not right:
The old man forgot that chocolate melts in scorching sunlight!
In horror he watched his castle melt, his eyes glazed with tears
For Sir Frederik witnessed his foolishness and all his wasted years.
He neglected his rightful duties as his land’s man of vision
He wondered if his subjects would forgive his passion
So to apologize for all the silly things that he had ever done
He gave out pieces of his melted castle to each and everyone.
Chocolate. There are few foods that people feel as passionate about - a passion that goes beyond a love for the "sweetness" of most candies or desserts: after all, few people crave caramel, whipped cream, or bubble gum. Chocolate is, well, different. For the true chocoholic, just thinking about chocolate can evoke a pleasurable response. You may want to grab a bar or make a nice cup of hot cocoa before you begin exploring here. Because within this site, this concept, this dream, exists that same passion, that same pleasurable feeling – it might not make your mouth salivate but it might just make your thighs burn, your cheeks tingle and your breath short cause this passion is about skiing. Lots of it. And that is what we intend on feeding you. Experiences so sweet and so epic that they can’t be forgotten, can’t be ignored. Life altering skiing that leaves you wanting more and more and more. So this winter, don't be tempted, come skiing.
Hey Everybody,
We are finally about to complete our new website. The change in look comes for many reasons: we are offering many new camps, we are now working with the established and seasoned Jack Shaw and Susanna Magruder, we have new sponsors and we are amped to start a new ski season.
I hope you enjoy it and find it easy to navigate.
If you have any comments (negative or positive) please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thanks for stopping by,
Josh
Chocolate Freeride Productions was created with one goal: Make Freeriding accessible to more people.
The problem was how? Currently, there is hundreds of freeride events, television stations, magazines and clothing brands all promoting inherently dangerous sports, and until now, with no mention of a safe and educational approach for the typical athlete to get involved.
That is about to change. Chocolate Freeride Productions' aim is to offer the real experience to the real athlete and to educate in the process.
Education within the given environment is crucial to the longevity of these "Extreme sports". Whether it be Big-Mountain Skiing, Downhill Mountain biking, or Surfing, all require a calculated approach to our involvement in a safe and controlled manner.
And from these basic principles Chocolate was born. Created by the Cohen brothers, and instantly recognized as a viable and essential resource by our friend and partner Phil Meier, we will provide you with the tools you need to enjoy the flavours of Freeride.
